Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully and print them and keep a copy for your reference.
Placing an Order
As soon as you have placed an order via our website, you should receive an automated email acknowledging receipt of your order. If you do not receive this then either your order has not gone through, you mistyped your email address when you registered or the email has gone into your spam or trash folder.
We do endeavour to keep our website up-to-date as to stock availability and pricing but occasionally as item will be out of stock or an error made in pricing. If there are any problems with your order then we will either telephone or email you as soon as possible to allow you either to cancel the order or make changes. We reserve the right to cancel any order in the event of suspected fraud. No contract for sale exists until we advise acceptance of your order.
Payment
We accept most of the usual credit and debit cards via our secure online payment facility. You can also pay over the phone although please note that we are not a call centre, so may not always be able to take telephone calls immediately. Please note that we do not have access to your card details at any time.
If you do not have a credit card or debit card account we may be able to accept payment by cash, personal cheque or postal order by prior arrangement.
Taxation
VAT is currently not chargeable on any of our girls' dresses or accessories. VAT is charged on non-clothing items and is included in the price you pay at the current rate of 17.5% (rising to 20% on 4th January 2011).
We will attach a customs label to your parcel and if you are ordering from a non EU country you will be responsible for the payment of any import tax and value added/sales tax in your country plus any post office handling charge.
Postage and Packing
We operate a weight based delivery charge system which is fully outlined on our Shipping & Handling page. We reserve the right to increase postage amounts with your prior agreement.
If any item is returned to us undelivered or uncollected you will be responsible for any postage charges arising from its re-sending.
Delivery
We can provide a best estimate of delivery times but cannot offer any guarantees. If the delivery date is critical, please advise us prior to placing your order. If the delivery estimate cannot be adhered to we will email to let you know as soon as possible (this may take up to 15 working days) and give you the opportunity of cancelling it.
When you receive your order, the package will contain an Order Confirmation with a Returns Form printed on the back. This is not an invoice but it should be retained in case you need to return the goods for any reason.
You will be required to sign for all parcels. We offer the option of selecting an alternative delivery address to facilitate this.
Returning Goods
You may return an item within 28 days of receipt, provided it is in its original condition, has not been worn or washed, is in its original packaging, free from odours and has all tags attached and that we have been notified by e-mail.
To return an item you will need to return it to us with the completed Returns Form found on the back of the Order Confirmation which you will find in the parcel.

Please note that you will have to pay for postage for your returns parcel. It is your responsibility to ensure that the parcel reaches us safely and you may wish to use recorded or special delivery as appropriate. A proof of posting will be issued by the Post Office free of charge on request.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights including your right to cancel your order within 7 working days of our providing you with written confirmation of your order or receipt of goods, whichever is the later, under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Upon receipt of the returned items in the condition described above we will refund your money in full less the original postage and packing charges.
Any items returned to us which are not in the condition described above will be sent back to you at your own expense. We will not accept returns of items that have been damaged in transit because they were incorrectly packaged. Nor will we accept returned items which have not had the correct postage amount paid.
If you are returning the item because it is faulty or has been misdescribed, we will refund the postage and packing costs to you as well. You will need to email us for instructions prior to despatch if you are returning a garment under these circumstances.
These conditions are without prejudice to your general consumer rights when different returns periods may apply for faulty goods. Please note the washing instructions on the garments and observe the temperature limits.
For damaged items that have already been worn, we reserve the right to have the item repaired or issue you with a credit note.
Under no circumstances will refunds be given more than 60 days after payment was made.
Availability
We try to ensure that the goods shown in the online shop are available in the timescales stated. However, we cannot guarantee that all the items will be available. If we cannot supply an item we will let you know immediately and let you know when we expect to be able to supply an item giving you the opportunity of cancelling the order.
Product Descriptions
The products are as described by us. We endeavour to provide accurate descriptions but if you feel that the description is misleading, you are entitled to return the goods to us. Please note that colours cannot always be accurately represented.
Measurements
Measurements shown should be taken as a guide only and there can be wide variations between different manufacturers. If in doubt, please contact us and we can let you have specific measurements or an indication as to the fit of the garment.
Exports
Currently we sell to all countries. Payments from Overseas will only be accepted in GB Pounds.
Computer and Technology
Our systems use Cookies to maintain your shopping basket during your time on our website. This may be retained for a day or two after leaving our site in order to recall your basket should you return to our site. Once this period is passed the Cookie will be deleted from your file.
Personal Information and Privacy
We do require some personal information from you so that we can manage your order. We will not use this information for any other purpose or sell this information to any third party.
We are not required by law to register with the Data Protection Registrar.
Jurisdiction
No contract will exist between you and us for the sale by it to you of any product unless we accept your order by email confirming that it is processing your order.
Any such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the UK and interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of England and you and us irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

We offer telephone support Monday to Friday, during the hours of 4pm to 7pm (Mon-Fri) and 9am-12pm (Sat), although please bear in mind that we are not a call centre, and may not be immediately available to speak to you. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
These terms were last changed on 31/12/10. Previous versions are available on request. These terms apply to your order and are subject to English law. We may change or terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders. |
